A Simple Remodel that Made Huge Changes

Another project that was very cost conscious, this was home was so abused when we found it that it was cited as uninhabitable by the City of Portland. Fourty two "red List" (violations deemed unacceptable for habitation) items had to be addressed before we could start the project.

We opened the floorplan, reclaimed oak floors, replaced and re-oriented windows and opened the home to the expansive back yard via a new laundry/wet room.

Custom tile work using reclaimed Anne Saks tile helped add some style at little cost to this well loved home.

Since there was only so many of any one color tile (warehouse sale) the design needed to be laid out exactly before being installed

We created mosaic "flower" patterns with the Anne Saks tile we had
