PHOENIX PASSIVE HOUSE

The Phoenix House was a spec project that had a lot of restrictions on it.   This remodel of a 1942 Bungalow is a Certified Passive House and Earth Advantage Platinum home.  Keeping the existing footprint and reusing much of the material from of the original house kept the home in a good scale for the neighborhood, and lets this very contemporary home fit right in with its neighbors.

Daylighting was a key concern of this project and lots f time was spent making the spaces feel as alive with sunlight as possible.
